My aunt was the intelligent and beautiful actress, Lois Nettleton. I was bequeathed her book collection in 2008. For too long, the books sat neglected on my shelf. They deserve a closer look as a window into the artistic and cultural climate of 1950s, 60s and 70s. This blog is intended to give fresh eyes to these old books and learn something along the way.

Hi Katherine, long time since we last communicated. I’ve been busy moving with my wife from Massapequa, NY to Copiague, NY. I’m setting up my “Shep-shrine” and encountered our correspondence.
You had thought you would copy and send to me a photo of Lois and Jean Shepherd. I wonder if you can still do that for me. I continue my blog regarding all things Shepherd.
